Obviously, the stopping speed of this safety clamp is very fast, and the stopping distance is also very short (from the speed limiter clamping the wire rope to the safety clamp wedge clamping the guide rail, the distance between the car and the car is generally only a few centimeters to more than ten centimeters). Therefore, it is extremely easy to cause large vibrations, bumps and impacts to the car and the people or objects on board. Not only that, the damage to the guide rail is also very large, so it cannot be used for high-speed elevators, but mostly used for low-speed elevators.
