The main function of ARD (automatic rescue operating device for elevators, also known as the elevator power failure emergency leveling device) is that when the elevator encounters a power failure or power system failure during operation, it will automatically start working and supply the elevator with AC power. Relying on the original control system of the elevator, the elevator car will slowly run in the light load direction to the nearest station to level and open the door, allowing passengers to safely exit the elevator, thereby resolving the problem of passengers being trapped and improving elevator safety.
