Elevator leveling photoelectric switch

2025-04-17

The leveling photoelectric switch is a sensor device used to detect whether the elevator has reached the designated floor. Its main principle is to use the photoelectric effect.

The photoelectric switch is usually composed of a light emitter and a receiver. When the elevator reaches the designated floor, the photoelectric switch will be triggered, the light emitted by the light emitter will be blocked or scattered, and the light signal received by the receiver will be converted into an electrical signal. Through circuit processing, it is determined whether the light is blocked or scattered, thereby determining whether the elevator has reached the designated floor. The leveling photoelectric switch is usually installed up and down, left and right, and there are 4 in total. The circuit diagram on the label distinguishes between normally open/normally closed, normally open (NO), and normally closed (NC).
