Automatic escalators are widely used in large shopping malls, supermarkets, airports, subways, hotels and other places. Most escalators work at rated operating conditions when there are large passenger flows, and still run at rated speed when there are no passengers. They have the disadvantages of high energy consumption, severe mechanical wear and low service life.
